Doing Our Part

MPI Print has an active program in place for doing its part to help the environment. The program is not only is it good for the environment, but it also plays a role in reducing costs for MPI customers. Our tandem press technology is designed to use less paper than conventional perfecting presses because of the reduced size of gripper borders of paper. This results in lower costs for customers while utilizing less paper overall. Whatever paper trimmings remain, they are all recycled. In addition to paper, all printing plates, ink cans and blankets are recycled. As well, CTPs are chemical free and vegetable based inks are used in all presses. MPI PRINT also is FSC certified.
